Booking Confirmation: Once your appointment is booked, you’ll receive confirmation details via email or SMS.
What to Bring:
Any relevant referrals or medical reports (e.g., imaging, GP letters)
Medicare card or Private Health Fund card (if claiming)
A list of current medications (if applicable)
Comfortable clothing that allows easy movement
Our first session is thorough so we can understand your condition and goals. It will include:
Comprehensive History: We’ll discuss your symptoms, lifestyle, medical history, and treatment goals.
Physical Assessment: You’ll undergo specific movement, strength, and posture assessments to identify contributing factors to your issue.
Diagnosis & Explanation: We’ll provide a clear explanation of your condition and how physiotherapy can help.
Depending on your needs, your first session may include:
Hands-on therapy (e.g., soft tissue release, joint mobilisations)
Targeted exercises programs
Heat pack treatment
Taping or bracing (if needed)
Ergonomic or activity modification advice
You’ll receive a personalised plan which may include:
Recommended number and frequency of sessions
Home exercises or self-management strategies
Referrals for scans or other health professionals if necessary
