“Our Journey So Far – timeline from founding in 2024 through 2025 growth and service milestones. Nable Physio – Our Journey”

A timeline of growth, innovation, and patient-centred care.

2024 – Founding Vision

Nable Physio was founded by Stephen C. H. Ho, a Perth-based physiotherapist with a strong background in evidence-based practice and aged care. Motivated by the belief that high-quality physiotherapy should be accessible, personalised, and collaborative, Stephen set out to create a service that places patient function, dignity, and recovery at its core.

The foundation of Nable Physio was built on values of:

  • Empathy and empowerment
  • Communication with GPs and families
  • Culturally sensitive, language-inclusive care

April 2025 – Clinic Launch & Service Foundations

Nable Physio opened its first physical location within a trusted general practice clinic in Perth. This integrative care model allowed seamless communication with GPs and nurses, creating a supportive setting for:

  • Musculoskeletal physiotherapy
  • Aged care and falls prevention
  • Neurological rehab for conditions like Parkinson’s and stroke

From the beginning, the clinic prioritised access and comfort, with private consultation rooms and flexible scheduling options to suit working families and older adults.

2024–2025 – Growth & Innovation

As patient demand and referral partnerships grew, Nable Physio expanded beyond the clinic walls:

  • In-home physiotherapy: For elderly clients and those with mobility restrictions
  • Telehealth consults: To support rural, remote, or time-limited patients
  • Workplace & ergonomic services: Including return-to-work programs and manual handling education
  • Custom home exercise programs: Tailored with visual cues and bilingual instructions (English/Chinese)
  • AI-supported clinical documentation to improve efficiency and keep up to date with the latest physiotherapy research and practice guidelines.
